I live in Pilsen (Czech Republic) for almost 10 years; I found here many great friends and wonderful girlfriend. I also have interesting full-time job, where I started as a temporary worker more than 7 year ago. So, I could say, I have everything I want and I need.
One day, AIESEC’s advertisement came across my way and seemed very interesting. I really love travelling, especially abroad and stay on a new and foreign place for a while lured me to try it. Due my “old age”, this might be the last opportunity to experience short term emigration. AIESEC internships are limited with age 30 years and I have no commitment to family, bank or other institution here in Czech Republic. Finally, I sent an application to AIESEC, passed internship candidate selection and sign contract about internship at the end of year 2013.
Firstly, I was looking for an internship with the International Office of the University of West Bohemia, but I chose AIESEC. They are offering many internship opportunities from all over the world with better care and many other advantages. Probably to best benefit is the fact, receiving company must pay you sufficient amount of money to cover accommodation, food, daily transport to work and small pocket money.
My intention was to stay in Europe and departure to English speaking country: Ireland or United Kingdom. I’ve added soon countries from Northern Europe, such as Finland, Sweden and Norway – to extend my prospects and Finland is my beloved country. As you perhaps read title of this whole blog, you already know, my final destination is different.
